Bard

Bards find employment both in royal courts and in any of the countless taverns across the land. Many elven spies take on the life of a bard to camouflage their activities, and humans, muirhauts, giakahn, and minotaurs all make good bards as well. Surprisingly, a fair number of lacertilians enjoy life as effective bards. Most dwarves are too dour to take up the bard’s path, while sky’reen tend to prefer a life of lower profile. Kestrel lack the olfactory skill to make effective bards.

There is rumored to be amongst the bards a faction of the bardic college that is set on the downfall of the Regents. These renegade bards are part of an organization known only as the Harpers. How many of these agents there are is unknown and they work and travel in secret. Most bards dismiss this as a fanciful tale designed to exaggerate the allure of the vagabond lifestyle.
