I am Ronald Todd McCarrick, born 1968 (you do the math), but please just call me Ronn. I’ve lived my life in Michigan, and briefly in Florida. I attended Waterford schools and graduated from Waterford Mott High School in 1986. Then there was a brief period of community college that didn’t really amount to anything. In 2006, I went to Northwestern Technological Institute for a HVAC refresher, and to pick up a certificate. That about sums up my formal education. I’ve had lots of jobs, doing everything from short order cook to carpet cleaner to furnace repairman. I’ve been married twice and I have two boy’s from my first marriage. I’ve also been divorced twice, and have two step-daughters from my second go round. If you’ve got romantic inclinations toward me… you’ve been warned. And anyway, I’m living with my second ex-wife.

I’ve always liked writing. My first stories were written in 4th or 5th grade and always seemed to involve me and my friends finding a haunted house and the monsters therein. Since then I’ve had dozens of unfinished 30-page novels, countless short story fragments, and writing ideas coming out my ears. Ideas are something I am not lacking, but the drive to execute those ideas seems to be less strong. I have actually buckled down and finished the 1st draft of one project. But as of yet I’ve not tightened it up enough to send out to the world. With a little discipline, that’s soon to change.
